-विनिता ३०० की ऎतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि एक बात है लेकिन उसका फिल्मी रुपान्तरण सिर्फ तथ्यों को नही रखता। इरानी सेना को दैत्यों, जादूगरों और पशुवत लोगों से भरा दिखाकर यह फिल्म जो कह रही है उसको समझने में किसी भी न्यूनतम राजनैतिक समझदारी रखने वाले को दिक्कत नहीं होनी चाहिए। फिल्म में लियोनायडस के जरिये कही गई बात कि दुनिया में सभ्यता और स्वतंत्रता कि आखरी उम्मीद स्पार्टा है,में निश्चित तौर से आज के पश्चिमी महाबलियों कि भाषा की दंभी गूंज सुनी जा सकती है। इतिहास कि इस तरह कि तोड़-मरोड़ का हर तरह से प्रतिरोध होना चाहिए, निश्चित तौरपर सांस्कृतिक रुपों में भी, जिसका ईरानी संगीतकार यास एक अच्छा उदाहरण पेश करते हैं।
इतिहास पर फिल्म बनाना वर्तमान को आइना दिखाना होता है। उसे सबक देना होता है। एक विषय के रूप में भी शायद इतिहास की जरूरत हमें इसीलिए होती है। फिल्म चाहे पचास बार बनाई जाय उसका मूल्यांकन उसके देखे जाने वाले समय के हिसाब से होगा। हिटलर के समय यहूदियों पर हुए अत्याचार के जरिए हम आज इजराइल की हरकत को वाजिब नहीं ठहरा सकते। लेकिन अमित जी मानते हैं कि ऐसा नहीं होता। वे 300 को ऐतिहासिक रूप से सही मानते हैं। इतिहास तो इतिहास है उसे बताने या दिखाने से संस्कृति कैसे नष्ट हो सकती है? अमित जी का यही सवाल है।
अमित जी लिखते हैं... जनाब, यदि यहाँ देखेंगे तो यह आपको पता चलेगा कि इस कहानी पर फिल्म आज से 45 वर्ष पहले भी बनी है। यह कहानी ऐसी है कि उस समय के बाद से युद्ध विज्ञान और रणनीती के हर स्कूल में इसका अध्ययन किया गया है, आज भी होता है।
इस फिल्म में दिखाया गया है कि उस युद्ध में किस तरह स्पार्टा की 300 सैनिकों की एक छोटी सी सेना ने तत्कालीन पर्सिया (आधुनिक ईरान)को नेस्तनाबुत किया था
आपका पता नहीं पर मैंने यह फिल्म भी देखी है और 45 वर्ष पूर्व आई 300 Spartans भी देखी है और दोनों में से किसी फिल्म में यह नहीं दिखाया कि स्पार्टा के ३०० सैनिकों ने पर्शिया को नेस्तेनाबूद किया। दोनों में सिर्फ़ स्पार्टा के ३०० बहादुरों और थेस्पिआ के ७०० रणबांकुरों(यह 300 में नहीं वरन् 300 Spartans में दिखाया है और इतिहास के अनुसार सत्यता के निकट है) की वीरता दिखाई है कि वे ज़र्कसीस की सागर जैसी सेना के सामने डटे रहे और लड़ते हुए प्राण त्यागे। और यह इतिहास में दर्ज है कि थरमाप्ली की भीषण लड़ाई के बाद प्लैटेया पर ज़र्कसीस की बाकी सेना का मुकाबला अन्य यूनानी राज्यों की सेनाओं से हुआ था और ज़र्कसीस की सेना की इतनी मारकाट हुई थी कि वह आखिरकार अपनी सेना छोड़ के वापस पर्शिया भाग गया था।
अब जो इतिहास है सो है, उससे किसी की संस्कृति कैसे नष्ट होती है यह मेरे को समझ नहीं आता। कल को कोई फिल्म बनाता है जिसमें दिखाता है कि डेढ़ सौ वर्ष भारत अंग्रेज़ों का गुलाम रहा और कैसे अंग्रेज़ों ने भारतीयों का शोषण किया तो क्या उससे भारत की संस्कृति नष्ट हो जाएगी? या कोई यह फिल्म बनाता है कि कैसे बाबर ने दिल्ली का तख्त हासिल किया और मुग़ल सल्तनत की नींव रखी तो उससे भारत की संस्कृति नष्ट हो जाएगी?
मध्य एशिया पर लगाई गई गिद्ध दृष्टि में अगला संभावित शिकार है ईरान। जिसकी नींव सांस्कृतिक स्तर पर रखी जा चुकी है। यकीन न हो तो हालीवुड़ की फिल्म '300' देख लें। अचानक हालीवुड को 480 ईसा पूर्व थर्मोपिलई के युद्ध की याद क्यो आई इसे आप बखूबी समझ सकते हैं। फ्रैंक मिलर के उपन्यास पर आधारित इस फिल्म में 480 ईसा पूर्व हुए थर्मोपिलई के युद्ध का वर्णन है। निर्माता वार्नर ब्रदर्स की इस फिल्म में दिखाया गया है कि उस युद्ध में किस तरह स्पार्टा की 300 सैनिकों की एक छोटी सी सेना ने तत्कालीन पर्सिया (आधुनिक ईरान)को नेस्तनाबुत किया था। दुनिया भर में जनमत बनाने की कमान सभ्यता के ऐसे ही लुटेरों और दंभियों के जिम्मे है। लेकिन इस सांस्कृतिक हमले का विरोध शुरू हो चुका है। इस फिल्म के प्रतिरोध में ईरानी संगीतकार और लेखक यास ने एक बेहतरीन गीत लिखा है...
